WITHOUT YOUR HELP WE WOULDN’T BE WHERE WE ARE

This has always been the case: in 1984, six hundred ardent theatre lovers banded together and became shared owners of a ramshackle theatre on Belvoir Street. The building we still call home.

In a normal year, core funding from government is less than 20% of our income, and we rely heavily on ticket sales and self-generated revenue – making philanthropic and corporate support is absolutely vital.

In essence, Belvoir supporters like you make what we do possible.

Our community informs everything we do: The artists we work with, and the work we make with them. Our shows as they develop, go on stage, and travel across Australia. The students and people on low incomes who come to experience theatre with us. The next generation of artists, who we nurture and who in turn allow us to be courageous in our work.

Your investment is more than a gift – it’s a vote of confidence in the work we do, the stories we tell, and the world we create.

You can make sure we’re able to fully bring this work to light by making a tax-deductible donation today, joining one of our Giving Circles, giving through your company or workplace or leaving a gift to Belvoir in your will.
